At a gathering of some Lived Experience Network members in 2024 a collective document was created that explores what advocacy in suicide prevention means to us. This collective document was created collaboratively by each of us adding a line or two.
Switchboard's Suicide Prevention program presented at the 2025 Roses In The Ocean Lived Experience summit and shared the advocacy story created by some of our Lived Experience Network participants. The conference attendees, responded by including reflections on how it felt to hear and be moved by the Lived Experience Networks words on advocacy in Suicide Prevention, some of the conference attendees responded as LGBTIQA+ community members, and others as our allies.
We collaborated with these words and have collected a response to witnessing and hearing our collective advocacy story.
